Expected DA Slabs for the month of Feb - Apr 2014
Expected DA Slabs for the month of Feb - Apr 2014 would based on the
monthly announcements of Consumer Price Index for the month of Oct 2013
to Jan 2014. The CPI for the month of Oct 2013 announced as 5502 and for the
month of Nov. 2013 it is announced 5546.
The average CPI for the month of Oct. and Nov. 2013 comes to 5524.
Accordingly, on the basis of realistic data available for the two month and on
assumptions that the average CPI may remains same for the month of Dec
2013; the tentative number of 31 DA slabs may come for the quarter Feb - Apr 2014
Calculation which has amazed me.
I have done a calculation regarding our expected salary increase according to
the talks going on between IBA and Unions. it results in a very surprising
figure.
I have calculated it on the basis of two conditions which are on discussion in
talks with IBA.
1. Da factor remains unchanged means it is .15
2. Da Factor is reduced to .10
Now if we assume that Basic salary is 10000 and 5 % increase is given by IBA
then according to the first condition( Da factor remains unchanged )the
increase in salary will be 3233 Rs.per month. Salary means Basic + DA.
and according to the second condition if Da factor is reduced to .10 and Even
15% increase is Given by IBA then increase in Salary will be only 3201 Rs.
It means we will get more salary in 5% increase than 15% increase if IBA will
reduce DA factor to .10
The most important Factor here is DA factor.
So please Don't see only % increase in salary ofered or Given By IBA , Carefully
Look the DA factor also.
A 5% increase in Basic salary without reducing the DA factor is better than 15%
increase in Basic salary where DA Factor is reduced to .10
It is my very humble request to all my Comrades , Union Leaders, All Members
and Every Bank Employeee Please raise your Voice to remain the Da factor
Unchanged also to get the benefit of % increase in salary.
We need in hand substantial increase in salaryrather than the fiction figures.

Well said , kuldeep rai sir...your view is absolutely correct when DA is concerned.....but think about HRA which is completely depended on Basic pay...
ReplyDelete1) If HRA % is not decreased with 15% wage hike then this it's ok....if HRA % is decreased then again confusion starts...
2) with 5% wage hike, If HRA % is also increased to some extent like then 5% wage hike can be acceptable as u said..
I feel that 5% increase is not sufficient at all. When our salaries are compared with that of the Central Govt./Some state Govt. Employees, we are the least paid. Hence, we should not accept any thing less than 25% increase.
