SUB: Discrimination in the Transfers effected
Bank has recruited and posted hundreds of probationary officers in the southern states of India during 2011 and 2012 and 90% of them belong to Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Uttarpradesh. More than 100 such officers are working in the state of Tamil Nadu since 2011 / 2012.
Arising out of the above recruitment and placement, we are given to understand that hardly 4 officers of 2012 batch, presently working in Chennai, have been considered by the administration for repatriation. This action has triggered a sort of dissatisfaction amongst the rest of the officers, thereby a deep frustration has already set-in in the minds of the officers.
It would be appropriate on the part of the management to have review of the decision to avoid the avoidable escalation of taking up the matter with higher authority.
Hope the situation will be properly understood and the exercise of rectification would go a long way to benefit the maximum number of officers belonging to 2011 and 2012 batch.
