IBPS Revised Eligibility Criteria for CWE PO-III 


Good news for everyone who is seeking to be a part of banking sector. 


Recently, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has announced the 3rd IBPS PO Common Written Examination for recruitment of Bank Probationary Officers and Management Trainees for 19 public sector banks and also made changes in the eligibility criteria for the first ti,e i.e, in Maximum age limit- 28 years and Minimum percentage criteria- 60% .


The applicants were dis-satisfied from this decision and also mailed to IBPS relating to this matter. Now, IBPS has come out with changes in eligibility criteria in favour of applicants. REVISED ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IS AS FOLLOWS:



1. Educational Qualification : A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government


2. Age : Minimum – 20 years Maximum – 30 years (i.e. candidate must have been not born earlier than 02.07.1983 and not later than 01.07.1993)


3. Computer Literacy : Not Mandatory.


Also, IBPS has extended the last date for applying.

IBPS eases eligibility norms for probationary officers’ exam--Business Line 23rd July 20133


The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has relaxed the eligibility requirements for candidates looking at appearing for the common written examination for the appointment of probationary officers and management trainees.
The eligibility criteria of age and educational qualification have been relaxed for candidates who wish to appear for the written exam to be held in October.
Under the changed rules, the maximum qualifying age has been changed from 28 years to 30 years, allowing a larger number of candidates to appear for the exam.
Further, according to an official release issued on Monday, the mandatory requirement of being computer literate, that is, having a degree, diploma or certificate in computers or having computers or information technology as one of the subjects in high school, has been done away with.
In addition, the dates for registration and paying application fees have also been extended. The candidates can now register online and pay the fees online by August 17 instead of August 12 earlier, while the deadline for payment of fees (offline) has been extended to August 22 (from August 17, earlier).

Students disrupt train movement to protest IBPS new norms-Times of India

PATNA: Various students' organizations on Tuesday held demonstration and disrupted movement of trains for hours at various places across the state to lodge their protest against the changes of eligibility criteria made by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for the recruitment of probationary officers.
Members of All India Students' Federation (AISF) too took out a protest march at Raj Bhavan. A group of student representatives later also met governor D Y Patil and submitted him a memorandum. The governor assured them to take up the issue with the Union finance minister when he will visit New Delhi on July 26 and 27.
